The early boat designers almost always covered the decking with canvas....less weight translates to faster speeds. Eliminate the canvas, lay down plywood and you have a very complicated and compound interlace of plywood sheets. John hopes to have his boat in the water this summer careening around the waters of St. Margaret’s Bay. Stay tuned for more pictures!
